I create paintings that live in the space between innocence and rebellion, the cute and the grotesque. Drawing from Japanese street fashion, pastel goth, and vintage fairy tales, my work reimagines femininity through the eyes of iconic monster girls and hybrid beings. Each character is a celebration of the outsider—a tribute to the strangely beautiful and powerfully fragile.
Meet Ingrid
A Brazilian-Canadian artist weaving together my passions for Japanese fashion, vintage horror, and the tension between light and shadow. Based in Langley, BC, I work primarily with acrylics, ink, and of course, glitter. When not painting, I'm probably deep in a DIY fashion project or obsessing over a cheesy comedy horror films.
